Salary trends in UAE 2016

Jobs in the Gulf, and particularly jobs in UAE continue to rank high around the world. The first question asked when people begin to think about a job in Dubai is what would be the salary here.

Thanks to a number of surveys and reports, now this data is more easily accessible. One such effort has been done by Charterhouse UAE Salary Levels. Other similar reports include the one published by Robert Half.

According to the Charterhouse report, a Chief Accountant’s average monthly salary in UAE should be AED 18,000, while its upper limit is AED 22,000 and lower at AED 14,000. Similarly, they reckon that a CFO should be drawing an average of AED 75,000 whereas its upper and lower limits can be 90K and 55K.

Here are few other notable roles:

Assistant Asset Manager average salary AED 28,000 with low of AED 25,000 and high of AED 38,000.

Vice President / HO Treasury average salary AED 60,000, low of AED 50,000 and high of AED 75,000.

In actual, the salary levels may deviate as every employer have their own package structures, internal grading and salary bands.

I HOLD A BSc.LOWER 2ND CLASS(2:2) IN MATHEMATICS (EDUCATION) FROM UNIVERSITY OF BENIN,NIGERIA.I WILL BE 21YRS OLD BY OCT.2016.I DESIRE TO WORK WITH THIS DEGREE,ON NYSC COMPLETION,NEXT MONTH.NOW,I DONT KNOW THE TYPE OF ESTABLISHMENT THAT MY SUBJECT AREA WILL BE SUITABLE FOR IN DUBAI OR ABU_DHABI,WHERE I AM INTERESTED IN LIVING.PLS DIRECT ME ON THE APROPRIATE STEP TO TAKE TO ACHIEVE THIS PLAN.THANKS.
