Immediate opportunities exist with our growing Bahrain studio for Senior Site Architects to work on a large scale, high profile project.
Candidates should be qualified Architects or senior Architectural Technicians with around 10 years post-qualification experience, with some of that in site roles on large projects, preferably in the Middle East.
The project is a large scale mixed-use development which includes 212,000 net square metres of shopping, a total of 500 keys in 2 hotels, an indoor water park, and a multi-storey parking structure for 5,000 cars. Experience in retail or hospitality projects will therefore be highly valued. Duties will include liaison with the client and project manager’s staff, approval of contractor’s drawings and submissions, direction of inspectors to achieve high standards of quality control, co-ordination with tenants, etc.
The positions will be based full-time in the large site office.
Bahrain is entering a phase of massive development but is not experiencing the transport chaos and increased living costs which this has brought in other parts of the region, and therefore remains a pleasant and convenient place to live and work. |
