Description: Bahrain Tourism Company BSC (BTC) was established as a Bahraini shareholder company pursuant to Amiri Decree in 1974 for the purpose of building and investing in hotels and other tourism projects. It owns the Crowne Plaza, Bahrain and the Bahrain Conference Center. Also it operates BTC Travel & Tourism division. In addition, the company invests in property, shares, managed funds and deposits.
Bahrain Tourism Company is listed in the Bahrain Stock Exchange as well as a member of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Company has various types of investments which include Available for sale, Investments in Associates and Investment in Property. Most of these investments are local and few of them overseas. These Investments contribute significantly to the bottom line of the Company.
