Land of gold, pearls and riches!
Gulf region has been famous among job and opportunity seekers for decades. People from all corners of the world have come here to try their luck, and many of them found their fabled treasures!
Lack of Information
Yet access to straight-forward, no-nonsense job and career information has been rather difficult. Since 1992 innumerous stary-eyed school and college mates, friends and relatives have approached me for advice, direction and guidance with their job search simply by virtue of my presence here.
With internet, access to far more information is now possible but most of it is scattered across hundreds of websites all over the web. In this fabulous "cultural melting pot" of the Gulf countries, people coming from different countries bring along their pre-conceived opinions about the country, the customs and the peoples. Frequently those opinions miss the mark, resulting in both a cultural shock and disillusionment.
GulfJobSites.com was launched to help people find information about the jobs and vacancies that arise in the various Gulf countries, and help them develop a better understanding of the region before they leave their homes.
Its NOT a job board.
This website is a voluntary effort to help others find job and employment opportunities in the Gulf region. First of its kind, it is basically built like a directory resource where links to websites that carry jobs and vacancies in the Arabian / Persian Gulf region are provided. With time, additional resources will be added to help you learn more about these countries and their people.
