Ras Gas, The Leading LNG in the World
 Description: RasGas was established in 1993 to produce liquefied natural gas (LNG) and other related hydrocarbon products from Qatar’s huge offshore field, North Field. Discovered in the early 1970’s, with estimated reserves of over 900 trillion standard cubic feet of recoverable gas, Qatar’s North Field is the largest offshore non-associated natural gas field in the world. It covers a total of 6000 sq.km. and extends from slightly onshore to continue all the way North to the three contract areas, i.e. RasGas (RG), QatarGas (QG) and North Field Alpha (NFA).
