Job Description: RETAIL MANAGERS AND STORE MANAGERS. Our client, one of the largest retail companies in the Middle East is looking for dynamic candidates to take the role of retail managers and shop managers for their rapidly growing fashion segment. Candidates' responsibilities would include, overseeing the total operations of the shop ranging from merchandising, sales, customer service and procurement to other day-to-day administrative functions, in order to ensure the effective functioning of the shop, achieve business goals and enhance company's image in the market. Candidates will be required to verify stocks at the beginning and end of each shift, replenish stocks according to season and size, take a total stock count at least twice a year and monitor compliance with stock transfer procedures, with a view to ensure availability of optimum stocks of the latest items at all times, guide, coach, and motivate staff continuously to bring out their potential and enable them to improve their performance. Liaising with suppliers and providing top of the line customer service are some of the other responsibilities. Candidates must have a graduate's degree in any discipline with tertiary qualifications in Sales and Marketing along with 5 to 7 years experience in Fashion / Jewellery industry preferably involving direct sales. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a good command of spoken and written English are essential. Knowledge of computers and of basic accounting procedures will be an added advantage. Excellent remuneration of AED 15,000 - 17,000 per month for retail managers and AED 11,000 - 13,000 per month (Male) and AED 11,00 - 13,000 per month (Female) for the position of store managers, will be provided.
