The Job: To manage and promote the company's reputation in the region through the media, opinion formers and the public in general so as to project an image of strength and responsibility, by which the company can successfully pursue its interests. This will involve in particular: Working closely with the business heads including the CEO, regional managers and Head of Marketing to develop and implement the company's overall communications strategy both regionally and internationally. Ensuring that all marketing and communications objectives are translated into achievable deliverables. Developing all policies and procedures for the Marketing and Communications functions, ensuring full alignment with the dynamic requirements of the company and the Group marketing function. Planning and coordinating conferences and special events. Being the 'front face' of the company with a widespread media audience from local press to The Financial Times, Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal.

The Person: A high level of Media/ Press Communication skills is critical and a pre-requisite to any application. At least eight years experience in a Communications / Journalistic or PR role. Some of which will ideally have been gained in the financial services sector. Very strong interpersonal skills - a 'can do' attitude coupled with a firm but fair approach is important. Fluency in English (Arabic would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite).

This role will be vital in supporting the HSEQ Coordinator to draw up, develop and update the Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System in the E&P operations. Responsibilities Include: Develop and update the documentation of the H.S.E. Q. Management System. Provide advice about the norms applicable in Quality, Safety and Environmental Protection according to the Iranian legislation. Cooperate on the training and recycling measures, which relate to his specialization. Carry out Audits and Inspections during drilling operations. Advise on the adoption of prevention and protection measures in terms of risks and cooperate on risks evaluations studies Implement emergency response plan and coordinate emergency response drills Accident/Incident Investigation and Reporting Implementation Waste Management programmes in the drilling platform and operations base. The successful candidate must have previous experience in offshore drilling operations and have knowledge of HSE International standards, as OGP and IADC. Ideally previous understanding of HSE Iranian requirements coupled with experience working with multiples contractors is highly desired. Solid communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility and an element of self-confidence are also imperative for this role. The ability to be flexible in relation to working on-board during the drilling period is required; in addition, further flexibility to travel may be required.
