Our client is embarking upon a mega retail concept across GCC in a highly specialized product domain and as such they are currently searching for this key management position. Due to our client's fast paced roll out plans, they are looking for a Human Resources Director to create HR functions, resource the HR team, lead the implementation of HR systems and deliver organisational plans. The role has a clear strategic orientation and the selected candidate will lead the effort to implement HR functions such as Recruitment, Training & Development and Compensation & Benefits. Other critical systems to be implemented will be performance management, rewarding and succession planning, company policy and procedures. To be considered for this position, you must be a broad based HR professional with at least 10 years experience at management level. This position requires a creative, self starter who possesses effective negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership skills, experience in start up and passion to influence the board on HR priorities is critical for the success of the function. Regional experience is mandatory while preferences will be given to Arabic speakers.
