The company is owned by the Government of Oman, the Royal Dutch/Shell Group, Total and Partex. The first economic find of oil was made in 1962, and the first consignment of oil was exported in 1967. To sustain our growth, we're committed to acting ethically, responsibly and environmentally. Everyone in PDO is encouraged to spot new opportunities, challenge the conventional wisdom and recommend improvements to the way our business works. This means you'll have the chance to make a positive difference as you help to ensure that the world we leave to future generations is one we can be proud of. You'll have a proven track record in all C&P processes for major projects through all phases, including project specification, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up. You'll have experience of contract strategies and tactics, contract development, tenders and awards, contract management plans and negotiations. You'll also have first-class knowledge of the legal factors that effect C&P, be able to quickly identify situations requiring legal input, and be ready to work within a strict set of business principles.
