DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities :
You will manage and provide professional planning for both existing and potential customers, contributing to the achievement of agreed sales targets and business plans for various products including polyol, polyol derivatives, solvents, and brake fluids. We will expect you to implement the global and regional business and product strategies for your assigned customers. You will also need to develop bespoke account plans for customers based on your understanding of their product end use and their commercial, technical and service requirements. Your role will involve defining, developing and implementing an appropriate channel strategy for your assigned products and markets, negotiating and finalizing sales or distributor agreements, and providing accurate rolling sales forecasts. You will also need to obtain vital market intelligence on competitor activities and market trends, to identify and develop quality new business opportunities and sales leads, and to liaise closely with our Customer Services team to optimize customer satisfaction. In addition, your responsibilities will include:
  • Tracking industry developments and maintaining relationships with key industry associations and organizations
  • Evaluating existing and new customers for financial risk
  • Achieving and maintaining excellence in HSE

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Requirements :
Ideally a graduate in Engineering or Chemistry or Business Management, you will have some experience in customer relationship management within a highly competitive Business-to-Business environment, preferably in the Middle East region. We are looking for someone who has had exposure to international trade, including trade finance, UCP 500, contract and competition law, export regulations and transfer pricing guidelines. Exposure to the chemical industry would be advantageous, as would a knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP. Excellent leadership, teamwork and networking skills are essential and you will have a good HSE awareness, a strong customer focus, and sound IT skills. It goes without saying that you have a keen commercial and business acumen; we will also be looking for negotiation, contract management and communication skills and a high level of self-motivation. Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is essential.
